Uniswap V3 Position Range Alert — Know the Moment You Go Out of Range

A concentrated liquidity position only earns fees while the pool's current price sits inside your chosen range. The moment price crosses either edge, your capital stops earning — and it can sit there earning nothing for hours or days before anyone notices, unless something is actually watching.

What this alert actually checks

This alert reads your position's real tick range and the pool's real current tick directly from the chain on a regular sweep, and compares them — the same math the Positions tab itself uses to show your live status, not a separate estimate.

It fires exactly once when your position crosses from in-range to out-of-range, or back again. There's also an optional early-warning threshold: set a percentage and get a heads-up while price is still inside your range but approaching an edge, giving you time to widen or rebalance before you actually lose fee accrual.

Why this matters for LPs

Full-range positions never go out of range, but they earn a smaller share of fees per dollar deployed. Concentrated ranges earn more — as long as they stay in range. The tighter the range, the higher the fee yield when it's working, and the more often it needs attention.

For active LPs running tight ranges on volatile pairs, this is often the single most valuable alert in the whole system: it's the difference between noticing within minutes and noticing three days later after checking the app out of habit.

What happens when it fires

You get a Telegram message with the position's token ID, which chain it's on, and a direct link back into the app pre-loaded to that exact position — so the next step, whether that's rebalancing the range or just leaving it and collecting fees later, is one tap away.

Frequently asked questions

Does this work for both Uniswap V3 and V4 positions?

Yes. The alert reads whichever version your position is minted on and applies the same tick-range comparison either way.

Will I get spammed if price is bouncing right at the edge of my range?

No — it only fires on an actual state change (in-range to out-of-range or back), not on every check. A price that's oscillating right at the boundary will trigger a notification each time it actually crosses, not on every sweep.

Can I set this up for a position I don't manage through the app?

Yes. Any position NFT ID on a supported chain can be watched, whether you created it here or elsewhere.
