Impermanent loss is easy to understand conceptually and easy to lose track of in practice, especially on a position you're not checking daily. This alert computes a real, current IL estimate against your entry and tells you when it crosses a line you set.
It compares your position's current value, computed from the pool's real current price, against what holding the underlying tokens outside the position would be worth at that same price — the standard IL definition — and fires when the estimated loss crosses your chosen percentage.
IL isn't realized until you withdraw, which makes it easy to underweight mentally on a position that's just sitting there. A concrete percentage threshold turns an abstract, easy-to-ignore risk into a specific, actionable notification.
This is an estimate based on current price relative to your entry, not a guarantee of what you'll realize on withdrawal — fees earned along the way can, and often do, offset some or all of estimated IL, and price can move back in your favor before you exit. Treat this as a monitoring tool, not a stop-loss.

Launch the app →The IL figure itself is the standard price-divergence calculation; fees earned are tracked separately in the app and worth checking alongside this alert, not instead of it.
There's no universal number — it depends on your own risk tolerance and how wide a range you're running. A tighter range will typically see IL move faster than a wide one.
Yes, each fresh crossing above your threshold fires its own notification.
